Accordion Fold Envelope Mini Scrapbook Album
How to Make Accordion Fold Mini Album Scrapbooks
by Jay Lynch
Mini Scrapbook Albums are my favorite kind of treasure albums. I have learned that Laura Denison creates marvelous scrapbooks and paper crafts, and she never ceases to amaze me with her crafting talents and creative scrap book ideas. In this video she gives us and introduction to accordion fold mini albums, and I believe you’ll enjoy seeing all the pockets and dimensions this type of construction creates.
Each pocket can contain a surprise. Whether it’s photos, journaling tags containing accounts and descriptions, or memorabilia from a particular time to be remembered, this compact package of memories comes alive as each accordion page is unfolded. Her creativity shines in the artistic design on each page, each layer or pocket, and the design adds such impact for the theme. The embellishments on the envelope pages, and even the wonderful paper prints alone, create a very engaging environment.
I don’t know if it’s the compact size or the elaborate embellishments that make her mini albums so engaging, either way mini scrapbooks become treasures!
IDEA: Build a Timeline Mini Album
Imagine collecting photos, invitations, napkins, bulletins, announcements, newsletters, and any other items related to the particular event, and then creating individual pockets the reveal a timeline. It will build surprises for the reader, in addition to telling an entire story as a keepsake. To me this is such a classy, concise way to archive memories.
You can see more of Laura’s work at her scrapping and crafting blog site, as well as has her online scrapbook craft supply store. You can find her many instructional videos on her YouTube Channel, and you can also watch her teach about her many talents on her Ustream Channel.
